Uma planta de prepara\u00e7\u00e3o de min\u00e9rio estava enfrentando altas temperaturas dentro de um ventilador de extra\u00e7\u00e3o de p\u00f3. A temperatura do rolamento foi resfriada a um custo consider\u00e1vel com o uso de ar comprimido. A engenharia da NSK conduziu uma an\u00e1lise da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o, incluindo uma pesquisa de temperatura revelando os principais problemas com a veda\u00e7\u00e3o. Operar em alta velocidade fazia com que a borda de veda\u00e7\u00e3o queimasse, e o excesso de lubrifica\u00e7\u00e3o contribu\u00eda para a alta temperatura de opera\u00e7\u00e3o. A NSK recomendou o uso de rolamentos autocompensadores de rolos NSKHPS com os mancais SNN e veda\u00e7\u00f5es de labirinto, juntamente com recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es para intervalos e quantidades corretas de lubrifica\u00e7\u00e3o. Um teste foi realizado, resultando em uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o de temperatura consider\u00e1vel e economia de custo significativa com a remo\u00e7\u00e3o do ar comprimido.<\/p>\n
